God is BIGGER!
His heart is established; he will not be afraid. Psalm 112:8
Are you afraid of the dark? Scared of spiders? Nervous about trying new things? If you said “Yes” to any of those, that’s okay! Everyone is afraid of something.
But here’s a question: What are you MORE afraid of—the things in this world or God Himself? That might sound like a weird question, but the Bible says there’s a good kind of fear called “fearing God.” It doesn’t mean being scared of God. It means respecting God so much and loving Him so much that you really care about what He thinks!
You know what happens when we fear (respect) God more than we fear anything else? Something amazing happens—the other fears seem smaller! When you know that the God who created the entire universe loves you and is taking care of you, you aren’t as afraid of other things.
The Bible says that people who fear the Lord and trust in Him don’t have to be afraid of bad news or scary things. Why? Because they know God is in control! They know that even when bad things happen, God has a plan and He’s going to work everything out for good!
Take Action: What’s your biggest fear right now? Maybe you’re scared about starting a new sport, worried about something in your family, or afraid of something bad happening. Write down your fear on a piece of paper. Then above it, write this as big as you can: “GOD IS BIGGER!” That fear you wrote is smaller than when you wrote “GOD IS BIGGER,” right? Remember that God is BIGGER than any fear. He’s with you, He loves you, and He’s taking care of you. Fear God (respect and honor Him), and don’t fear anything else!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
