Have you ever heard of someone just disappearing? Like in a magic trick where the magician vanishes in a puff of smoke? Well, something like that happened to a man in the Bible named Enoch, but it was way cooler than any magic trick!

Enoch lived during a time when most people were making really bad choices. But Enoch was different. The Bible says he “walked with God.” That doesn’t mean he literally walked down the street holding God’s hand (though that would be pretty awesome!). It means Enoch lived his life close to God every single day. He talked to God, listened to God, and obeyed God.

God was so pleased with Enoch that He did something super special—instead of letting Enoch die like everyone else, God just took him straight to heaven! One day Enoch was on earth, and the next day he just wasn’t—God had taken him home!

Even though there were lots of people around Enoch making bad choices, he chose to follow God anyway. That’s like being the only kid at school who chooses to do the right thing when everyone else is doing something wrong. It’s not easy, but it’s SO worth it!

Take Action: Enoch walked with God—and you can do the same thing! What does it look like to “walk with God” in your life? Maybe it means praying when you wake up, choosing to be kind when others aren’t, or reading your Bible before bed. Pick one way you can walk closer to God today, and then do it! Remember, walking with God isn’t about being perfect—it’s about choosing to stay close to Him day after day.
